First in, The 15th Headies Awards Ceremony will be held at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Atlanta, USA on Saturday, July 2. 🏆

This is the first time the legacy award ceremony has left Nigeria, choosing to take it to the diaspora and create a new path. It holds on July 2, 2022, with a partnership from the US consulate.

The winner of the Next Rated award at Nigeria's biggest music awards show, The Headies will receive a 2022 #Bentley! (The organizers don't want artists giving their cars to their managers.

They want a vehicle that stars can drive and take pride in).

The Headies is also launching a reality talent show titled 'Mic Check' to help unveil a new artist They're hunting down some of the most talented acts, putting them through a system, and finding a star. According to organizers, Mic Check promises to mint "an instant superstar."

Also, this will be the first time the Headies is also announcing the formation of an official Academy of people who will be deciding the nominations and votes. It's drawn up from the music industry's professionals to get the best of music celebrated.

- The 15th Headies will cover from October 2020 - to December 2021 as its Year-In-Review.

- The Headies Call For Entries will begin on the 8th of March, 2022 - the 12th of April 2022.

- Also, at the 15th Headies will feature new categories, to be introduced;
